The highlight of the year for Sudbury Corvette Club was undoubtedly our "Cruisin’ for Food" car show on June 21st. Held at Sudbury’s best-known tourist attraction, Science North, hopes were high that we could build on the success of last year’s event. 2008 also marked the first time that Sudbury was chosen as venue for the Quad C sponsor appreciation event, so we were keen to ensure that our visitors enjoyed not just the car show, but the weekend as a whole.

Altogether, the event raised over thirty-six thousand dollars in food and cash donations for the Sudbury Food Bank - a truly fantastic sum and around ten thousand dollars more than the previous year. Next year we hope to do even better and also look forward to welcoming many Quad C members back to Sudbury for Cruisin’ for Food 2009 for even more entertainment and fun!
